U.S. Little League Strips Chicago Team of Title

TEAM STRIPPED OF IT’S U.S TITLE

It’s a sad day in history when a Little League Baseball team is stripped of its U.S. title.  On Wednesday 2-11-15, the U.S. Little League discovered that the team possibly violated some residency restrictions.  Needless to say, this has caught National attention.

The Team is Jackie Robinson West based out of Chicago.  What most people don’t seem to understand is that this is a Little League team and not a high school or professional team.  Most of the children on these teams come from different areas in the city.  This happens in a lot of neighborhoods.  It’s just about the same as someone sending their child to another school other than the school that’s in their district.

It really doesn’t matter what decision the Little League Organization decides to make, because just about everyone still considers this TEAM “Champions.”

Several politicians have gotten involved and have shown their disappointment to the people in charge of the Little League Association.

AFRICAN AMERICANS WERE NOT ALLOWED TO BY ON WHITE TEAMS

Sources state “African Americans formed Jackie Robinson West because their children weren’t allowed to play on nearby white teams.” SportingNews.com

So, what’s the real story behind this situation?  Is it a technicality or is someone being a sore loser.  Someone has to win and someone has to lose.

We agree with most of the population that has weighed in on this case.  JR West are Champions no matter what. Best of all, is that they are getting more publicity now so it’s all turning around for their Good.
