Prayers for Bobbi Kristina

Just a short 3 years ago the world lost a mother, a friend, a daughter, a cousin, an ICON in the entertainment world–Whitney Houston.  When we heard of the passing of Whitney Houston it was as tragic to hear the news as it was when Michael Jackson departed from this life.  It’s always a sad occasion when someone passes because we miss that person that once made us laugh, cry, or feel something.  Whitney Houston was like no other, she was one of those people that will only come around once in a lifetime.

Sometimes we wonder why must our loved ones leave us, but only God knows the answer to that question.

Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time. But no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come.  Isaiah 57:1

Tragically, Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina was literally broken hearted when her mom passed away. I feel her pain because I my mom passed several years ago; therefore,  I understand the hurt regarding that ‘shell’ that was once occupied by the person that gave you life.  To think of that person no longer being around is just unimaginable.

I was saddened when I heard on the news that Bobbi Kristina was found in a drowning situation similar to that of her mother just 3 short years ago.  The media reported about her last posting on her Twitter account showing how much she missed her mom.

On 1-31-15, another tragedy in the Houston camp…Bobbi Kristina is now in the hospital fighting for her life.  On 2-4-15 there were stories in the media that the family was showing up at the hospital to say their goodbyes, because the doctors said there wasn’t anything else that could be done.

I pray for the family and I know God will give them peace and comfort during this time of tragedy.

I also pray that the media continues to respect their privacy. I know they have a job to do, but the family needs time to grieve too.  We know most of the family chose a public life, but in ALL situations of tragedy I do firmly believe all families need time to deal with their individual situations.  Have a heart America.

God Bless you all, and especially at this time, “The Houston-Brown Family
