#NoGreyNoWay is the Movement that’s taking social media by storm.
The movement is in direct proaction to the upcoming movie release of Fifty Shades Trilogy (Fifty Shades of Grey).
*FSOG – Fifty Shades of Grey
The Trilogy has so sold more copies than any other book except The Holy Bible.
FSOG movie trailer is thought to be “alluring and enticing.” It contains just enough information to lure unsuspecting individuals into local theaters.
The movie posters are very vague too. There’s a photo of a lady and it states– CURIOUS?
If you weren’t one of the people to read the book then you are probably a bit lost to say the least.
Nevertheless, you are not alone. I don’t have a clue about the book either. I don’t follow–I lead so I don’t read books just because others read books.
This storyline is filled with lust, sexual perversion, manipulation, codependence, violence, verbal and emotional abuse among a laundry list of other things. It is not the true depiction of love. Rather, it is the tearing down of innocence and a potion to numb the morals of society. It is “legalized lust.” The FSOG has branded and now selling it’s sex toys in local stores which pose the question to our younger generation…..CURIOUS? “ Pastor, Debra Arnott
Moms on the Go interviewed Sierra Fernald who assisted her mom, Ariel Fernald, in starting the #nogreynoway movement and this is what their camp had to say:
MOTG: How did this movement Begin?
#NoGrey: This movement started last week, on February, 3rd; Tuesday morning. It happened when my mom, Ariel Fernald expressed, to a group of woman leaders in her bible study, her frustration about the scenario of the upcoming movie release. That night Kristin Adams (A Leader In The Bible Study Group) gathered a group of women together to meet in her home and try to make an impact.
MOTG: Why did you want to start this movement?
#NoGrey: We did this because everyone who founded this movement knows that FSOG is completely inappropriate and degrading.
MOTG: On what basis did you want to start the #nogreynoway movement?
#NoGrey We started the #NoGreyNoWay movement on the basis of Biblical principles found in 1 Corinthians 13:4. This scripture clearly states all of the things love is and all that it isn’t. In this scripture, God says that love is gentle. In the movie, Christian Grey’s character is VERY violent.
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 1 Corinthians 13:4
MOTG: How is the progressing going thusfar?
#NoGrey: The progress is going well. We started our social media campaign on Thursday (2/5), today is Saturday (2/7) and we have 400+ likes on Facebook, 100 shares on Instagram and several retweets on Twitter. The best part is, the stats keep going up!
MOTG: What is the Purpose of the campaign?
#NoGrey: The purpose of starting the #NoGreyNoWay movement is not to achieve anything personally; but to simply bring awareness to the harm that movies like FSOG, can do to our society.
MOTG: Do you believe this will cause awareness and change peoples mind into NOT going to see the movie?
#NoGrey: We definitely believe #nogreynoway will bring people to the light, regarding the frightening statistics surrounding FSOG. The purpose of this movement is not to change peoples minds; rather than to change their hearts, so they can take a stand for themselves.
MOTG: What do you want our readers to know about No Grey No Way?
#NoGrey: We really want people to know that #nogreynoway is not based off of personal opinions; but rather the statistics that have been made known to us. For example, according to (Charisma News Study) it is statistically proven that 25% of the people who will see this movie will end up in some form of an abusive relationship in the next 5 years.
MOTG: What are your beliefs towards FSOG?
#NoGrey: I believe FSOG is a perversion of the true meaning of love. It portrays violent, inappropriate, and disgusting acts. It also tries to make the perversion main stream. This movie shows a tainted relationship and tries to play it off as ” fantasy ” when it is truly abuse.
MOTG: Your belief is based on what?
#NoGrey: Our personal belief is based on the word of God. However, whether you believe in God or not, there is no denying that when a series increases someones risk of binge drinking by 65%, there IS a problem.

Fundamental pastors and Christians once again missing the point, and looking for ways to make headlines.
Is this your definition for Funatmental Christians and Pastors? http://www.victorious.org/chur21.htm
Also, what’s the point that’s missing? Would love to know your point of view. So, it’s ok for “FSOG” to dominate the headlines, but not the views of Christians? Hmmm, “FREE Speech?” Enlighten us please. Thanks for taking time to respond.
