A serious inquiry regarding whether or not a user could edit captions on photos once they are already posted to instagram prompted us to start searching through different options on instagram, along with their online blog. Users can finally go back fix captions and typos in your Instagram captions.
Instagram just rolled out an update this past week that adds the capability to change photo captions after they’re already posted.
Not being able to edit photos once they’ve already been posted has been a daunting task to users of the popular app. This forced its users to post corrections as comments or delete and re-write the entire caption.
“This process was frustrating especially if you were popular and the moment you posted photo you received 50 likes.” says one of our avid follower and business owner Leafitsuccess
Instagram wrote in a blog post ”
“This has been one of the top requests that we’ve heard from the community, and we’re excited to finally bring it to you.”
To edit a caption, tap the menu button […] underneath a post and select edit. Edited captions will include a note indicating the post was edited when a user views the comments; which is very similar to Facebook.
Make sure you download Instagram’s latest update to enable caption editing.
